We welcome you to Paros. When you will arrive in the island by sea or by air at a distance of 17km from Parikia, you arrive in Marpissa, the largest village of the district, with full tourist amenities.
Built on a low hill near the coast, it sparkles with its traditional white washed houses, windmills, narrow lanes and many old churches. To the east rises the hill of Kefalos with the ruins of the 15th century Venetian castle and the 16th century monastery of Saint Antonio.

Less than 1km away, on the coast is the picturesque fishing village of Pisso Livadi built on a low hill with traditional Aegean architecture; it attracts many visitors. Apart from its wonderful view on the Aegean sea and Naxos, it has amazing and very clean beaches. It offers a wide range of waters sports and hospitality. The small Port of Pisso Livadi is linked by boat to Naxos, Myconos, Santorini and other islands of Cyclades. With its many beautiful beaches in every access, Pisso Livadi is already situated for lovers of sun and sea. Logaras beach with its shallow still waters, Punda Beach. The Golden Beach where take place windsurfing races, the beaches of Drios and Lwlantwnis with the award of the white blue flag and a little further south are the beaches of Glyga, Tripitis and Faraga.

Every year our Lord's Passion is enacted through the holy ceremony of the burial of Christ on Good Friday - a representation unique in all Greece. On Easter Sunday the country and local authorities organize a festival with food and wine from Paros, traditional dances and a lot of love-a custom that has existed in the area for years. During Summer art, exhibitions, festivals, performances and Concerts are successfully organized.
